You know what is the worst about this proposal to me? Is that the USDA already licenses HORRIBLE puppy mills, and it certainly has not shut the majority of them down. A USDA license does nothing to protect animals or people buying animals. All it does is add a level of bueacracy (however you spell that...where is my spellchecker when I need it?) to this.

It will not protect animals. I would be ok with more regulation if it shut down puppy mills, but this will not do it.

Grrrr.....
