Shiba Inu/Jindo cross (female) for adoption!
Susy (aka Soogenie) is a beautiful spayed, female Shiba Inu/Jindo, aged around 3 years old.
She's a lively, playful girl!
She's up to date with all her shots and is heart worm tested (negative).
Currently weighing about 30lbs.
We recently rescued Soogenie (and her sister, Sarghee, who has already been adopted) from a shelter in Sacramento.
Soogenie is a sweet, affectionate girl, who likes to give kisses and though typically a little shy on first meeting, she warms up quickly, and is playful and loving, and will sit at your feet or jump up for head scratches.
Her foster parents are working with her to revise basic commands, and she is doing well. She walks well on a leash, and rides without problems in the car.
Soogenie can be petted all over and is accepting of being touched, even in sensitive areas like the feet and ears. She can be picked up easily.
She's a really lovely lady, who would do best right now in a home without cats. She gets on OK with other dogs who are submissive and calm, but she can get a little annoyed by dogs that are constantly in her face. She has lived with children, and dog-savvy children will be no problem for her.
She'd probably do best in a home as a single dog living a spoiled only-dog life.
