Sponsored by PETA.. I'm not into veggie kibble unless it's for medical reason.
I'm more for meat, veggie, fruit type kibble.. I feed raw diet myself.
Hey if you want reduce carbon foot print go raw or home cooking and feed food from only from local in your area sources like actual local farmers from your area or state..
I try get some stuff from local Indiana sources and I do grow my own veggies for myself.. Peaches and pears out of my yard is yummy.
Ingredient list is on this pagehttp://v-dog.com/products/v-dog-kibble

I'm no way against vegetarians or vegans, but unless for medical reason I don't see reason in feeding a dog an all veggie diet.
Saya enjoys cooked veggie or fruit once in while, but I'd never offer it as her sole diet.
The kibble even has Menadione Sodium Metabisulfite Complex..

I was rather impressed that there was no corn, wheat and soy in the ingredient list
With myself being a vegetarian, I appreciate that there are some treats out there that are meat-free (this way, I can do training and not have to wash my hands every 5 seconds). However, I also understand that in order for my dogs to be healthy, they need to eat meat. They are carnivores. If I wanted an herbivore for a pet, I would totally get a bunny.
I've made sweet potatoes and cheese biscuits the dogs liked it. I haven't made them in long time maybe I'll look into sweet potatoes and try grow them or just buy them at the farmer's market or store..
Saya and Bella loves peanut butter, blueberries, apples and I think a dog biscuit made with those three be yummy combo.
My dogs enjoy certain cooked veggie or fruit here or there and I have raspberries that grow all over so when they're ready to pick i give the dogs tiny bit. My mom likes to can them and freeze some too.
Yeah, I don't get the vegie diet for dogs either. Really bad idea. I have no problem with vegie treats--since my dogs eat a raw diet they get plenty of meat and protein, so it can't hurt for them to have vegies too.
I don't like it for dogs, but it really pisses me off with cats. Obligate carnivores!
