Would you consider using Pet Airways?

What do you guys think? Do you know anyone who has flown a pet on this airline? The rates seem reasonable. The destination cities are pretty limited but it looks like they'll be adding more cities in the future due to increasing demand.

It looks interesting but, I don't know. I guess It'd be nice if they gave tours of the planes they used etc. so you could see exactly where your pet was going. They have a nice commercial though. I'd really be inetersted in what someone whose used them had to say. Too bad they don't do international yet. I'm pretty close to one of their locations.

The closest location to me is in Ft. Lauderdale [ about 6 hour roundtrip drive ] so not sure if it's really worth it to have the pup shipped allllll the way down there [ tho the plus is we could go to the beach afterward!!! LOL ]

Kind of ridiculous that they don't have Orlando yet on there yet. None of their locations are close to any of the breeders I would get pups from either.

It's interesting that they offer discounts to Breeders & Rescues.

I'm with Red tho, kind of weird they don't have pics of the actual plane.

Aother thought; I don't like those little tiny planes...LOL ~

I think I saw them on Animal Planet or Discovery before. So I'm assuming it must be pretty decent?
There are also veterinarians on board to assist with anything

I guess any coast-to-coast flight would stress a dog, no matter what, but I think that such a long trip on a noisy twin-prop might be even worse, I know I hate flying twin-props! I'm also a little sketchy with the Omaha "potty/food break" on a coast-to-coast flight. Do they take the pets off the plane to do their business on a tarmac? The site doesn't offer any details about that stop.

sounds like a good concept. Again more information needs to be provided. For me the closest one is 9 hours away in Chicago.
