Nihon Ken Rescues
Something I've been thinking about doing for a while, & have finally kicked myself into gear & creating a layout for it...
I'm going to make a website as a resource for people looking for Nihon Ken Rescues. Essentially, it will be a basic website talking a little about NK, & have a list of all the Rescues for the 6 different breeds. I'd like to include contact information for rescues in other countries too. [ since the interwebs are international! ]
So...if you all could list the rescue organizations you know of with a link to their website I would greatly appreciate it. [ please include American Akita rescues too ]
Also, with Brad's blessing, I'd like to link to the forum [ s ] on the main layout of the rescue website for people to learn more.

both are uk based both rehome both breeds of akita of course JA in rescue are very few and far between in the uk thanksfully.

NYC Shiba Rescue
There used to be the Makado Akita Rescue in Mass, but I'm not certain if they're still running. I can't find anything on them online. Same with the New England Akita Rescue.
