I think Hilo has already won over Kaia, if you watch she gets all sassy with him then runs away, but runs right back over to him. So I think she likes hilo's attention she is just still a little unsure of his giant paws being placed on her back.

I dunno what Ahi is doing in this vid, it seemed like she was trying to enforce some type of protocol between Hilo and Kona. If you watch she comes over and redirects Kona's interaction with Hilo, then he comes back and she does it again. I dunno what that's all about. I call her the "Play Police".
