Yori, 8 months old now. pics are a few weeks old, he has a nice sesame colour and a very nice coat. he met a 4 months old mix ja aa in the park. aa looks and ja ears. lovely dog, very social yori met some bad dogs and cats, biting and claws, yori is not impressed, ok wanna play??
they do, chico loves yori's warm coat. chihuahua's and shiba's can live togheter, just let them be dogs. chico thinks he's a great dane. btw, great dane's are an german breed, not from denmark, lol.
that's right, isn't their other name the Deutche Dogge? I wonder if that changed because of the war- like how in England they started calling German Shepherds 'Alsatians' at the time to avoid association with Germany?
deutsche dogge, in the netherlands, duitse dog. germany and denmark had both molossertypes, so i don't know what name is right. there are more opinions about the breed. in dutch dog and german dogge is molossertype dogs, like boxer, mastiff, cane corso etc.
alsatian named after ww1 by the uk kennelclub, because of anti german sentiments. alsace or elzas is a provence of france, near the german border.
