I can do chairs (2/3?) and a cooler. I have an xpen but not sure how many dogs can fit comfortably (two if they like each other?). How big a cooler do you want? Or @calia wanna join our enterprise?
YES! Kyuubi the Akita puppy will be there. Despite being 53 pounds (as of last Saturday at least) he is a puppy and will be part of the puppy group on Friday. We will be there on Saturday as well to hang out and see the rest of the show. We will also have our 4 year old female shiba with us and our 3 year old son. Between the two dogs and the preschooler we can't guarantee we will be there all day but a good portion of it.
Ugh, checked weather.com to see what the forecast should be like at the show, looks like everyday of the week is nice but the two days that the showing is on. Hopefully they're off, but we should probably pack a few umbrellas just in case. Does anyone know what the policy is for inclement weather?
Again, If anyone cannot attend, but would like to be a part of the show, the club is still in desperate need of donations for the raffle and auction. Also they still need trophy sponsors. They are well short of covering the cost of putting on the show. Message me if interested.
For anyone at the hotel, here's our rooms in case we need to call and coordinate for the Friday morning hike. Me - 114 Beth - 217 Chrystal - 227 Claire - 201

I got a really cool book at the auction. I will see about scanning parts of it. It was published by NIPPO 13 years ago for the 70th anniversary of the organization. It has photos of all the breeds foundation stock -- so, so many photos! I'm trying to figure out how its organized (I think by year) because I see different breeds on the same page. Each dog has a name and some other info with it I shall puzzle out.
For those of you who aren't FB friends with me, here's a link to the album containing some of the pictures I took at the show: NIPPO Classic 2013
For those who don't have FB, I'll embed some of the images on the thread when I get home.
I had a blast at the show, great to finally meet so many of you. Congratulations to @BradA1878 , @CrimsonO2 , and @poeticdragon for their wins at the show!!
It was really awesome that 3 of 4 handlers/dogs in the best in show judging ring were from Nihon Ken Forum -- great job guys! Congratulations to the new NIPPO-USA CHAMPIONS Akashi, Kurenai, and Ghidora!
Comments
Should we bring coolers? I have one, but it might be a bit much to bring with the canopy, chair, and crates.
