I'm almost certain that I want a Shikoku now !
I love that he destroys his toys. Saigo has about 10 stuffed animals which he nibbles and licks but they're all still intact. I want to see him destroy something...hasn't happened yet. lol
FYI - Those ~$50 reinforced toys are more than worth the money. I have a mega large toy that has held up amazingly well to all of the pups - (https://www.vipproducts.com/retail/files/index.php/categories/view/426/mega-creatures/product:1126)
Aside from that one, it seems that any of my Shikoku can destroy other toys in less time than it took me to pay for them...
sky is growing fast and could be a pretty picky eater
29.3lb as of 18/8/13
when he met ghost,
his first bath, not a big fan of water

As for lunging, Grayson used to pull like crazy for dogs and humans. I learned to distract him the second he looked like he was going to focus, plus speed up your walking, plus keep his attention (I.e. talking). Shorten your leash prior to approaching dogs too. You can reward treat/click/praise after, whichever is your training style. Also, I was always told its a puppy thing; so it won't always be perfect!
thanks for the advice @GrayJJ
another this is sometimes hes stubborn and only listens when you have something he wants either a toy or a treat?
any tips
either than that hes pretty well behaved and learns quick
Such a shame, where i live so many beautiful breeds are unknown.
