Time to switch to adult food?
Hey everyone.
Remember me? I have the Jindo/GSD/ Dachshund mix named Carver. He has just about reached his adult weight per our vet, and seems to have topped out at 51 lbs. Unfortunately, that same vet said our pup is fat. >:P
He doesn't look fat to me but whatever. One of the things she mentioned to help with his weight is start the switch from puppy food to adult food. But a week later, another vet at the same office said the exact opposite!
I'm confused.
Any advice would be appreciated. Carver is active, 51 lbs and mixed breed as mentioned above. Another tidbit of info is he will occasionally snub his bowl of kibble.
