Prevalence of Epilepsy in Shikokus?

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone else had experience with epilepsy in Shikoku’s and how common it was? Kaiya has had 4 seizures to date and is now just diagnosed with epilepsy.

    Argh- I'm so sorry to read this. :(

    I'm not a Shikoku owner, but searching the forum should turn up several threads about the neurological stuff in the breed for people who know better than me.

    Oddly enough I have not yet seen or heard of a Shikoku with epilepsy here in Japan. But I have heard of several in Europe and the US. We don't have much data on the issue yet to be honest.
