Diva Shiba?
Our Shiba is the ultimate diva!! If she hurts herself she screams and runs up to us to cuddle and give attention. As soon as we give her attention she stops. She knows how to work us too. She often hurts her paws or legs and limps until we rub it... If her sister plays a little too rough and she doesnt like it she screams and runs to us.
Is this a shiba thing or a Niko thing??

If Maui hurts himself, or comes close to hurting himself, he will stop and look at us and if we are reacting to the situation in a way that makes him feel like we are concerned that he is hurt he will start crying and screaming. The same thing could happen to him, and if we don’t react, he will just brush it off. Shibas are like toddlers, it’s ridiculous.
Aren't all Shibas drama kings/queens??
My Anakin has learned that if hes not getting his way, then he can limp and everyone will magically pay attention to him. It worked for a short while. Then, four vet visits and $300 worth of x-rays later, we were told to ignore the bad habit and it would go away. It worked. But now we don't say the word 'limp' in front of Anakin, lest he remember that useful little trick...
He also despises having his nails cut/trimmed/filed, despite that we've been doing it since he was 10 weeks old. I have to take him to the vet to have three people help me hold him down. AND he screams as though we're killing him. The same goes for anytime he perceives himself to be in danger, regardless of whether or not there is any real threat. Pin Anakin, and prepare to cover your ears!
My favorite? When Anakin is napping, and you attempt to move him... he growls. He won't move, he won't bite, he won't snarl.... he just growls. You can pick him up while he's napping, and he'll remain curled up in a ball just as he was sleeping, but he's a vibrating, growling little ball of orange fur. Apparently, he needs his beauty rest!
