First one with the mountains and the clouds is really nice.
Hilo being goofy is hilarious. I know his issues that kept him from being able to be bred were a disappointment, but those ears are about the best thing ever for a goofy dog like him.
Hilo has been extra goofy the past few days, he seems happy to have Luytiy back - Luytiy is the only dog he can play with 100%. Hilo's enamel hypoplasia makes his teeth freakishly sharp and most of the dogs can't handle the it, but Luyity has no problems with the pain. It's kinda sweet.
The flags are "peace flags" [aka "prayer flags"], they are for decoration.
Well, we have noticed something rather unexpected with Hilo. His back-end has straitened out a bit!
He is still very "cow hocked" but not as bad, he has gained some strength back there too. I never expect him to improve, I actually thought he would get worse... but he's looking better now!
>_< Hilo is so goofydorkable and seems so sweet! Reminds me why I love akitas hehe. I really hope to add one to the family someday (hopefully not too long after we get home). But thanks to you I also had to add a Shikoku to the wishlist! lol
My favorite part of the video (besides all the ruu ruus): "He's such a dork!"
he is cute, brad he has the same dental issues that my boy had, its probably some where on the forum but i've not managed to find it but was wondering if he had any treatment for it and what if he did?
Venus - We have met with a few specilist regarding his teeth and the general opinion is that there is nothing you can do <i>fix the issue. There is a laser treatment where they zap the teeth with a special laser, it helps to harden the tooth (remember in Hilo's case his teeth never formed the harder enamel coating). We did this treatment for him early on (in Atlanta), if you have not done that I would start there. After that all you can do is get them professionally cleaned once a year (or even every 6 months). The cleaning will help the laser treatment continue to harden the tooth and the teeth will slowly become less and less sensitive. That's about it. \

I was wondering if those were prayer flags.
