Belfast zoo`s akita and lion pics

These are pics i took from Belfast zoo,N.Ireland.The akita raised the cub because the pride wouldnt accept it.Both of them are going to stay together in the zoo as the 2 of them thrive together.The akita is the boss....lol

    how interesting! now that I would consider a primitive dog!
    That Akita looks very similar to the Hachiko (sp?) images (that very loyal Akita story)

    That's crazy! I bet that's one bad a$$ Akita. That lion could probably wreck his sh*t if it wanted to. Very cool though.

    That's really amazing, so cool! Thanx so much for sharing those pics!

    He does look a little like Hachiko, different color, but similar.

    I'm with Dave, that Lion could through him out of the park if it wanted too... lol... but that is what's so amazing about animal behavior, so much of it is mental.

    Really cool story, animals keep amazing us don't they? For the good reasons! I wish people were like that too.
