My best Brandon impression

I'm learning more and more about my new camera and, I received an early birthday present in the mail yesterday...my new lens! I just *had* to take it to the dog park to test it out...ya know, to make sure it worked properly and all. ;-)

I'm pretty happy with the results so far. It's tough to pick which photos to put directly in this post! So, here is my best Brandon impression with some of my action shots.

There are a bunch more here.

Joey's new friend, German Short Haired Pointer mix (I think):

Lucy and some kind of Lab mix with the park's token weird guy in the background:

There are a *lot* more of Joey and the pointer on the picasa page linked to above.

The second pic you posted, with Joey in full "gallup" is awesome. All four feet in the air, nice lighting on Joey, no blur. Nice work.

Getting a new lens is good fun.

Joey looks like he could play forever.

Thanks guys! Joey can and does play forever. :-) And Lucy has been doing much better. We just switched her off of Prednisone to Budesonide so she can get the dosage of steroids she needs without all the systemic side effects. She was pretty playful yesterday!
