guys have you heard of WholeMeals??? since Avy doesnt wanna eat regular dog food -.-' i bought one of this wholemeals things and she just love it, she thinks that its a candy or some treat xD :P....

    Just be a little careful of the ingredients in it. It does have Rice Flour, Chicken-by-product meal and Meat Broth as the first three ingredients. Chicken-by-product isn't very good for dogs, because its basically leftovers and inconsistent of its ingredients. And considering its made by Mars Corp, I don't know how much i'd trust it. They make stuff for humans and use the remains in their dog products.

    Its alright if its just as a treat every now and then, but as a meal -- I would suggest something that is holistic and/or has human-grade ingredients in it. Pay very close attention to the ingredients labels on everything. The dog food companies are out to deceive and think your buying something good, when for the most part, people are not.

    The reason she thinks it is a treat, is because it's junk food for dogs.

    wow i didnt knew that, well ive only gave her 1 of those, i think i should just keep it like a treat not a meal...

    Yes I would look to a different food source. The percentage of protein in this product is very low, and the sources are just not very good. There is also way too much grain. It's a shame that products like this can be marketed as premium foods for pets. I mean "meat broth". There are a lot of things that can full under meat, so what exactly is it that they use?

    There are a lot of threads on here about dog foods, and a lot of good foods to try. However it might take your dog awhile to get used to a premium food. They may turn their noses to it at first, it's kind of like trying to get a kid to eat a proper meal when the kid has been eating McDonalds for awhile, and know that McDonalds might still be available if they hold out for it.

    well i dont think she gets used i just gave her the first one yesterday in the evening :)... im gonna chop the rest in little bites and use it like treats.....

    right now im feeding her and kiba with Castor and Pollux ORGANIX, Kiba loves it, but Avy is kinda special we have to mix the food with some rice or canned dog food....
