More Keiko *New pictures 9/06/08*

I swear I'm worse than a mother of a newborn... I just can't help myself!!! (doesn't hurt that we have unlimited picture/video messaging... )

Last clip is of Keiko and I wrestling with Mr. Frog... I don't think he's going to last long, already looking ragged at the seams.

(the spot on the carpet is a stain from the rusty wheel on the treadmill that used to inhabit our home office...)

    Our other dog is a miniature Dachshund named Belle... she's a bit of a spaz, but she's fun! She can jump really high and realized Keiko can't... so she'll get up on the couch run across it (while Keiko chases on the ground) then leap to the loveseat... jump to the ground for a bit of a tease and then repeat. It's hilarious to watch the two of them play :o)

    I actually grew up with Border Collies and Golden Retrievers, so smaller dogs are newer to me... but I'm enjoying them just as much as my super smart Border babies.

    Too cute! I keep forgetting how tiny they are at first. Don't worry keiko will be matching your Doxie pace for pace in no time (LOL)

    So Keiko decided to hop up on the couch with me today and watch Rachel Ray (by hop I mean she begged until I picked her up...)

    At first she was totally into it! (ignore my obnoxious yellow abercrombie pants... and yes those are rhinestones on her pink leather collar - it was a gift)

    Then she started losing interest (Rachel Ray was trying to help a couple instead of cooking... silly girl...)

    These seeming rare (at least lately) moments of calm are the ones I love :o)

    Too funny....that's such a shiba thing.....they seem to love to dig or tunnel under bedding.

    How old is Keiko now?

    She's almost 11 weeks now - today she seems to have channeled the devil into her playtime... it's been a fun/rough day lol :o)

    Just a little fetch - she learned last night and even started putting the ball in my hand (well til the ende of it)! ... now if only she could get this housebreaking thing down...

    Haha, that's great! Lucy got the fetch thing down really well in the house, but is horrible at it outside. Joey is exactly the opposite.
