At what age should Hilo's ears stand up?

   They should be almost fully up by now. You may need to have them taped.

  hmmm - that sux. I read that it's a slower process for larger boned dogs. Have you heard that?

  I know it is a little slower for the Akita they say a Shiba. There is a wives tale that the ears take longer to come up on the better dogs Taping isn't that big of a deal though.

  Some come up at 4 mos, others not until 5-5.5 months.

  Just don't get too concerned if one pops up and the other doesn't. Another common ear thing is that at 5-6 months, one might start to droop again. By 6.5 months, they'll both be up.
