I don't post a ton of Hilo videos [because he really doesn't do much], but I got some good ones that really show his playful side...

    hilo is such a happy camper! his ears make me giggle, it gives him character.

    I am so in love with him. I was never a big akita person before Hilo, and he has made me a convert.

    Oh by the way I met an Akita named Jess that does competitive agility. He gave me lots of kisses and I got frenched by an akita.

    Its so crazy, for some reason, I always get the feeling that Hilo is the oldest in the pack. But then he's not even 2 yet right? LOL. Hilo plays soooo cute! He's just a big ball of love. He gets so excited with Jen, too cute!

    I love your commentary too. "Hey bubbby" and "Laaa la laaaa la laaaa, back to the office...". Too funny. :-)

    Rui and I have just seen all of the vids you posted.
    It's quite uncanny how many things Hilo and Kuma have in common. The 'goofball' attitude, the paw slaps at the other dogs, the way his tongue just hangs and slaps here and there, him eating the grass! Rui burst out laughing as soon as he heard you say "You're not a cow". It is the same thing he tells Kuma!

    Kuma has also taken to 'fix the sofa up' by scratching at it before he sits down on it - he can get quite obsessive and we always think of Hilo's video when it happens.

    Like many people on the forum, I suspect, I have a soft spot for Hilo and I'm so happy that Kuma is so like him. Kuma's a bit of an addiction for me now - I seem to love him more and more everyday. I'm trying to imagine Hilo and Kuma playing together.

    So, please give him a big hug from me, actually us.

    Awwwww... Jen and I both gave Hilo some hugs from you guys. Then he chomped Jen. lol

    Kuma reminds us of Hilo every time we see pics - we think.... "oh, that is what Hilo would look like if he had normal ears." :o)

    ok so this is off topic but I have to say this, brada you guys are through with placing you puppies, not that that is a bad thing....I was just looking at your website but I'm glad you guys care so much about your pups.

    I'll take that as a compliment, because I assume you meant "thorough". :o)

    We are extremely picky in our puppy placement, tho we have not produced any puppies yet.

    Off topic// Brad, I remember looking at you site and seeing Kai on there...have you changed your mind about breeding Kai? [ if you don't mind me asking? ] & who / what breed are you planning on first? :)~

    lol - we took Kai-Ken off because we will not breed them for many years, if at all. We would only breed Kona [assuming he passes all health checks] to new bloodlines brought into the country from Japan. We have been working for a LONG time to import some new Kai-Ken from Japan... but its really dragging ass.

    As for our first breeding, assuming all health and temperament checks go well, we will breed Lao to Corina's male, Kei-Kun fall-winter of next year.

    haha I remember seeing the Kai on there one day, & then the next day they were gone. I thought I had imagined it lol

    heh I normally do but here lately I've been using my moms laptop and that is why I've had to us IE cause she doesn't like new things heh.

    Thanx for the compliment - and truth be told, I am the worlds worst speller, so I should probably not point out a spelling error. I just wanted to make sure I understood. Thank god for the Google Toolbar spell checker! :o)
