It's in Conyers from 1-4, http://www.conyerskennelclub.org - if I remember correctly, the Pavillon doesn't have it's own seating, so I'll be bringing bag chairs. I can only hang out until 3:30 because a friend of mine's son has a football game that I promised to attend.
Just off the Access Road on I-20 - 2 Exits East of Stonecrest Mall, Take the West Ave exit, turn Left, at first light Turn Left onto Iris Drive, you'll go under an Overpass and turn Right onto Commercial Drive, at the light, Turn Left onto Parker Road and 1400 Parker will be on your left.
I believe they can - I'm not sure what all will be happening at this one. At LKC, we had booths on lots of breeds, there was information, some prizes, etc.
The RDOD went pretty well. Turnout wasn't great, but those that were there were interested in the breeds. There weren't many dogs, but I plan to talk to the club about doing this at a PetSmart or somewhere where people are likely to walk by and be drawn in to see what is happening. There were quite a few students that were there because of an essay contest. The club had 44 entries and the top three were read aloud - they were very good. One of the kids went and got her dad because she wanted the fox dog - he offered me $500 for Jazz. I spent time talking with them and gave them a brochure why the shiba wasn't for them. I came up with every bad story I could think of on shibas to discourage. That one bothered me.
Anyway, here are a couple of pics. The last three shots are of a guy who was late, but his dogs were gorgeous!
I am so offended by the fact that the man would try to buy your dog from you. Did you point out that perhaps if he thinks you can put a price on a family member than he may not be qualified to have a dog? UGH!!!
I love those two Pitties!!!!!! Did he give a presentation?
Something "camp..." He said it so fast, I just didn't catch it.
They were adorable! I sat down with them and got laid on by both of them. They were so loving. My nephew (the one Jazz bit) even played with them with me - it was a good confidence builder for him.
Those two kind of look like Cimarron, from Uruguay. They could also be Brazilian Dog (Dogue Brazileiro). The "camp" thing LJ mentioned led me to Bulldogue Campeiro, but those have a large round head like a Bulldog, so they don't exactly fit .

Unfortunately he didn't give a presentation and those aren't pits - they are a type of brazillian bulldog, but I can't remember the breed.
If they weren't pit I would have guessed Cane Corso (Italian) or Presa Canarios (Canary Islands). Regardless they are beautiful.

Why didnt you take the money??
Morons!
I'm intrigued to know the breed as well - it'll go in Jazz's scrapbook.
