Akitas rescued from the pound

edited September 2008 in Akita (秋田犬)
These Akitas were both rescued from the local pound. The owner of one said he had 'gotten to old to walk the dog'. Both are beautiful laid back boys. The white one is 30kg (66lb), and the red is 35kg (77).

Just thought I'd put the pics up for fun... wish I could adopt one, but no big dogs allowed where I live.

I want the white one! I want a white male so bad. Chad just told me I had to choose between my unborn son or the akita...bastard!

Rachael, I'm partial to the white as well. I just love the big white Akitas.

I'll post some more pics if I see them again this week.

For obvious reasons I will say I like the red one - but of course I like the red one that is snoring next to me a bit more.... hehe
