Shoot. I'm having ALL KINDS of issues today! I guess I have my days mixed up.....it's Thursday huh? hahahah OOPS! I guess the GIANT calendar in front of me didnt do much good today. And on top of that...I cant seem to get the pictures to work. And I can't find a button that lets me edit a post.

I love it when Lucy burrows like shat. She tends not to do it on the couch (I think because its pleather) but she'll do it on the rugs or on her beds. Has Honey started doing the circling thing? I find it hilarious!
What circling thing are you talking about? Like in one spot? Or around the room? haha She LOVES to chase her tail. But she doesnt JUST go in circles. She will fall down while still trying to grab it and ROLL head over tail without stopping! It's TOOO funny!
Honey usually only digs on her blanket in her crate. But this morning my daughter caught her diggin on the couch. (Little stinker!) OMG! Speaking of stinkers......Honey has the WORST GAS EVER!!!!! OMG! LMAO! HAHAHAHA It's TERIBLE! haha It's so bad it even wakes HER up from sleeping! HAHAHAHA Poor baby
Hahaha. Yeah, Shiba gas can be deadly. Lucy can clear a room no problem. The other day I was working at my computer and she was sleeping on her bed next to my desk. She woke up, walked over to me and rubbed against my legs and then went back to sleep on her bed. A few seconds later I smelled it. She came over just to fart around me. How sweet of her. :-(
The circling thing I'm talking about is right after she digs like that and right before she lays down. Lucy will dig, then circle, then half sit, then get back up and circle again, then repeat. This happens 3 or 4 times before she finally settles down. And even then, sometimes she'll get back up and do it again. Before her surgery when she slept in bed with me, she would do the same thing before finding a comfortable position to sleep in. Its too funny.
Shiba gas could be concentrated and used as a toxin without a doubt. My niece Ashley and I were working on some chemistry problems that she had and Jazz walked up to the laptop (we were laying on the floor), gassed us and walked over to her floor pillow. My neice and I both teared up.
ROFL! HAHAH Lucy Must love you something terrible! HAHAH How considerate! HAHA Honey usually just lets them go in her sleep. We can usually prepare ourselves (pull our shirts over our noses) because she'll be sound asleep then start wiggling. That's when we know it's coming! haha
Nope, I haven't seen Honey do that yet. She's usually so worn out from the kids that she just kinda falls to the floor in a heap. But no matter how tired she is, if she hears The oldest get up and move.......she's back in the race! haahh
I love my Shiba. She's truly an amazing creature. And I count myself SUPER lucky to have her in my life. The joy she brings is priceless!
I have heard that the circling from spinning stems to very old ancestral roots in dogs. If they had to sleep in tall grass, they would spin, and possibly sit a few times to push the grass away a bit to clear out a spot.
Oh yeah, priceless is absolutely the right word. There isn't a day that goes by where my Shibas don't put a smile on my face, if only for a few seconds.
Bella does the circles, and that is very interesting, Brandon, about the grass theory. Makes sense. But I just think it is because she is picky and wants to be oriented in the perfect direction.
Katie, Nola wakes herself up with her gas as well. She will fart, then her little eyes pop open, and she sniffs the air around her butt, then looks at us as if to say "what is that funk coming from my rear?" It is pretty funny.
sunyata.....I'm giggling so loud the people here at my office are starting to ask questions! LOL That's too funny! I swear I can tell what Honey is thinking at times....and that sure does sound like something she would think! Or this......"Was that really me? Wow! Sorry!"
