And finally and randomly... our campfire and some marshmallows :o)

Keiko LOVED every minute of this trip!! It's kinda hard because if there's a stick or bug or leaf or... tail... around, she's totally focused on only that, so I don't get my cuddles times :o)

Here's a video of her chasing random things to end!

    She is too adorable!

Thanks! We're hoping to get a little further up Hood Mountain the next time we go camping... I'm just worried about driving a few hours to the 'first come first served' sites... although camping should be dwindling down for most people now that the kids are in school and the temps are starting to fall.

Rachel - lil Kieko monster actually broke her collar the second day we were there!! I had thought to myself 'better grab an extra collar before we go' ... clearly I forgot... Luckily I had just run out to the Fred Meyer to get some more firewood when I got the call about it, so now she has a very 'butch' looking black collar lol. Poor thing, eveyone already think's she's a boy fox ;o)

wow Kieko is getting so big! How old is she now? Your pictures are beautiful, I'm jealous!

Melissa - she's 17 weeks old now! I can't believe it when I look at her in her crate I keep thinking 'soon we'll have to break out the bigger one!'

LJ - LOL I actually said to James... we're gonna have to put rhinestones on it or something!

It doesn't matter what you put on her. I literally have a pink collar covered in flowers and people still tell me what a handsome boy Piglet is, and Moto is wearing a black harness and in my opinion looks like a BOY and people still assume that because he is the smallest in the pack he must be a girl.

I guess the moral of the story is people are dumb,
but it looks like you have a beautiful trip!

What a fun trip, and looks like Keiko really enjoyed her first camping experience! A beautiful place... Love the Columbia tent --- our friends have a 2-room version and invited us camping in the SD Black Hills a couple summers ago. We shared the tent, which was spacious (and private with the 2 rooms)...

Wow! Beautiful scenery! Glad to hear you guys had fun :D! Thanks for the spammage, I love the cuteness overload Keiko :) ~

Honestly, its not hard to tell the difference between and girl and a boy dog. All they gotta do is not be idiots and look down. :D

I keep getting 'Wow, shes pretty. What kind of dog is she?'

hmm. I don't know. TOBY is a magical Shiba Inu. And a boy, because he has boy parts. D:

Are you sure that Keiko doesn't translate to "cute"? ;-)

That looks like a blast! I bet she had the time of her life. :-)

There are some things I missed getting photos of... like Keiko and Simon (the 16 week old Norwich Terrier) - he was THE cutest lil thing EVER!!! I mean I love my lil Keiko baby, but this lil guy was a red terrier and just cute as can be! He owned the couple next to us, and they were all about having a playtime for the two in the excersize pen. They played SO well (thank god for the socialization classes!!!! YAY!) I just wish I had pictures!!!! It was really funny cuz the guy next to us kept saying how adorable Keiko was, while we kept saying how adorable Simon was - we agreed that... we had the two cutest dogs in the area!!! :o)

That looks great! You guys must have had loads of fun!

And I agree it doesn't matter what they have on. People just see what they want to see. I get asked if Kuma is a girl loads of times.

We had awesome weather... it's been in the 90s the past couple of weeks - although today it dropped to 80 and it's supposed to be in the 70s all weekend.

We're hoping to get one more trip in before the rainy season starts... although with our schedules it may not happen.
