Japanese Herding Dog - Shoushuu!
So, I took my Malinois, Lynx, out for a day of herding. Then decided to toss my Shikoku puppy out there with the sheep to see what he would do, lol!

He did really well during his first run with the sheep at 6 months. Video clip will be coming soon! However, during his second and third run at 7 months...he tried taking a few bold nips at the sheep. I think him easier to work then Lynx. Even so, it doesn't look like he has the makings of a herding dog, this was just for my own personal amusement, lol. Besides sheep chasing is always fun. He'll make an EXCELLENT hunting dog though -grins-. He has drive for the chase and will most certainly bite the sheep.

Question! Do Shikoku like water? *last picture* ~
Kyla - =(^-^)= Thanks!
Osy - After a long session of chasing sheep, in the heat and on the hot, burning ground...YES! I'd imagine that the water feels great, especially on the feet. Shikoku or other -nods-. Lynx always dunks herself inside the water tub, lol. Kei was content on just cooling off his feet.
