I'm so sad.........

When we took Honey out for her last walk of the day last night, there was a small young kitty sitting in our yard. Now, not young like BABY, but deffinetly young. It followed us for our entire walk. Wasn't scared of Honey at all. And Honey actually did very well with the kitty following us. She kept an eye on it but didnt try to go after her unless it got TOO CLOSE. Even then she still just kinda jumped at the cat, but no barking or growling.

Well we get back to our house and the kitty stays on our porch ALL NIGHT. I figured I'd call or take her to the Humane Society in the morning. As I got up this morning, sure enough, the pretty kitty was still there. I went to get dressed and ready to go when I see a lady walking her dog up our street. The kitty takes off and follows HER. I have a feeling the former owner had a dog, since the kitty seems to be drawn to people with pups.

I'm worried that the kitty will get hit or end up at someone's house who ISNT as fond of animals as I am. Going to the Animal shelter was this kitty's best chance. She's really pretty, all white with only a few light spots of light tan. I really kinda wish she/he comes back so I can take her in. I'm sure she would be adopted quickly.

Put some cat food out on your porch with some water. She will be back. When she comes back grab her and put her in your back yard or something so she is safe.

Poor little kitty, she is lucky she found someone like you who cares.

If you can, and since Honey did well with the kitty and the kitty didn't fear Honey, I'd suggest you adopt the kitty.
Not being possible to do that, the food is a great idea so you can get her to the shelter.
