Jazz visits Niko & Sasha
Since Rachael is on bed rest, Jazz and I decided we'd go visit to help burn some hours for her. For those that don't know Jazz, she gets a bit snarky at, well, most dogs. We had a great visit and Jazz did very well. She growled at various times, but way less than what she does at a meetup. Niko and Sasha were wonderful and just gave Jazz some space when she needed it.
Here are some photos of our day at Rachael's. The costume is for a meetup later this month. I've got some video too, but it is still uploading.

The Shibabies look small next to Sasha ~
It was good to spend time with Rach. We are hoping to do this more - we think that it will help Jazz alot - she does so much better with just a few dogs and in an enclosed area.
it looks like that red ball is growing out of her face hehe
I have been trying so hard to get that pic with Niko and the ball.
Niko scared Jazz a little going psycho trying to get her to play under the bed, Niko is VERY vocal! I need to get video of Niko full force psycho.
Niko looks funny with the red ball on her face. I really like Sasha's expressions and Jazz's sort of regal attitude.
This was our second visit to Rach's and Jazz did phenomenally better than the last visit. For those that don't know, when we do an outing, Jazz has been taking drugs. In this case, melatonin. The goal is to help her get past her initial fear action and let her experience the situation. She got 300 micrograms at 10am on this Saturday. That's about the lowest that I have been able to find for her. We were at Rach's until 9pm - obviously, the melatonin would have worked completely through her system. Once she got past her initial moments, she did great. It's my goal that we won't have to do the melatonin when we do outings, but we still have a little bit to go on that - but I can definitely say it is helping.
The other thing that we noticed was how different the face structure is between Niko & Jazz. When you compare Jazz to Niko or Lucy - you really see how much more Niko & Lucy look like foxes. Jazz doesn't have quite the fine features that they have.
Staring down the hallway is Sasha's usual stance/post. There are windows on the side of the door so it is her best way to "not be on guard" but still be on guard. They are crazy watch dogs (mostly Sasha, when Niko barks I know there is a reason to get up). Sasha seems to believe there should be nothing else living in this world.
Thank you for all the compliments on Sasha...she is my pride and joy and we see her get younger and younger every day!
Brad, wait till you see Niko, she is even more psycho than ever, you will love her even more!
Thank you! Im VERY biased but I think I have 2 of the most perfect puppies! Jazz is pretty special too... : )
I dont know anyone who has met Sasha that hasnt melted in some way, even if she is petrified and wants nothing to do with them...LOL.
