"Yes, we have passed many fine places ...

...in the past half mile for me to poop, but I assure you that somewhere up ahead is that perfect spot. And if not, I will gladly reconsider one of the fine spots I have consigned to the lesser breeds on our way back home."

Just sayin' ; )

That's our walk routine as well. Every single time.

Beebe-"My poos are so special, I have to hide them in tall grass but Mom is sooo nosey, she hunts them down and takes em away! What gives?"

Kuma tried to be like that and then I would end up with a present at home on the newspaper (long gone, those time are, thankfully). To change that, I out stubborned him, and stayed out side once or twice until he actually pooped(one of the times, the first one, we stayed outside for almost 2 hours).
Never had a problem since, he'll poop wherever. It has happened one or twice that I have to drag him cause he'll want to poop while crossing a road.

Miso will only poop in the soft sand on the beach and will only consider going in the grass if the weather is too bad to make it to the beach. Silly boy!

Ichi just did the, "Yes I know we normally poop here, but as you can see, there's way to many other dogs around for me to do it so I'll just hold it."

Ah, yes...A case of the "Golden Nuggets". That's valuable stuff! You can't just put it anywhere! In fact when you find a place that *might* be worthy, there is yet more scrutiny. There is still the deliberation of the "poo-dance". Back and forth, back and forth. Oops false alarm. Start again. ANY interruption will be heede to abort the process. Start again.
    That would be the Tuli.

The boys are not nearly as discriminating. They will also walk in a muddy ditch. On purpose. With no squirrel present! They have also been known to pee on each other. They are SO uncouth.

Triepak has the odd habit of backing into shrubbery when he poos. Doesn't seem comfortable but if there is a conifer around, you can bet that is his target! He does his best to elevate the poo. Another form of marking.

Guska is a reliable pooer (Hey-one out of three ain't bad!). Except he tends to sort of hunch/walk and spread it out. You don't get a nice neat little pile to pick up with him. LOL

Ike also likes to "hang stockings" from shrubs. Those boys.

Luckily, I only have one picky pooper. Bella. She will walk for miles until she finds the perfect spot. And then of course, she does the poopie dance. THEN, she walks while she poops. Silly girl. I have yet to figure out what makes a spot pefect. Any ideas?

    Sounds about right!
Niko circles while she poops so she can inspect her digestive triumphs!

Jazz likes to back into the bushes and drop down, so no one can see where she poops!

Sarah - Nemo's brother, Turi, also likes to poop on bushes or somehow get his poop up off the ground. It's pretty funny to watch.
