Oh... That is the fire crackling in the background. I was inside [it was ~8 degrees outside] and had just started the fire [it was 7am].
They are barking at some roaming dogs.
**Yes, Kona could get over the fence. After this video I removed the wood piles he was on. The snow has gotten high so the fence is less effective - we have been fighting an uphill battle with it this winter. That is why L is tethered in this vid. I met with our fence people today and we will be getting our 8 foot fencing put on February 1st.
Love the videos ---- Masha is the cutest puppy ever, and she is amazingly huge for such a young baby!
In the second video its fun to see Luytiy's vigilance and responsibility to warn off those other doggies; and then there's his silent but eager companion (lieutenant?), Mr. Kona, trying to get through the fence (and probably wanting to play with those wild doggies, if he is like Josephine!)!
Great videos, and thanks for compensating for that You Tube phenonemon about the speed --- I don't quite get it and what the "cure" is, but I notice all the other You Tube videos posted by others seem to have the same problem. Maybe add something to the "instruction" thread?
Masha is so cute....it's good that you have started with a little training now, way before she gets much larger and a little more independent. She looks like she is willing to please though : )

Lindsay, Brad mentioned in an earlier post that the breeder crops at just a few days old.
Masha is getting sooo freakin cute, it's unbelievable.
In the third to last picture, with the lighting like it is on her dark face, she kinda looks like a baboon. :-)
