I thought it would be fun to show the variation in paws amongst our Nihonken...

Maui:

The Shikoku and the Akita have the most similar paw shape, while Kona's is more pointed with very large pads. The Shiba have tiny little feet, even relative to their size.

    Luytiy's got some monster paws, they are almost bigger than Jen's hand.

    Lol. I'm not sure why, but I love paws too (which is somewhat ironic given that I abhor human feet).

    Kahuna and Hilo have giant paws, of course Luytiy does too. The size contrast is very interesting.

    It's funny - I was wondering what the size difference would be from Jazz's paw to Luytiy's - thanks for the comparison shots!

    Dave I too am utterly freaked out by human feet. I should be more clear, adult feet. Baby feet are freaking adorable. Even little kid feet. But once they stop being chubby, I hate hate hate feet. And before some smarty pants asks... chubby adult feet are gross to me too.

    Dog paws are the coolest ever. I love callouses too.
