Kai, Kishu, Shikoku and Shiba...Oh My!
I don't believe that I've posted any links for these yet. So here they are.
Over 150 photos of Nihon Ken, taken by yours truely.
They are from the 2007 Nihon Ken Show in Kumamoto, Japan.

Shiba:

Sorry, the Shiba are still in the original size, so you will have to click on all the photos individually to view. You'll get an upclose and personal view, double the cuteness.

And the more I see pics of Kai, the less I'm inclined "to want". Weird, right? But Kishus on the other hand... love the Kishu!
ETA: Thanks for sharing!!!!!!
Those pictures look great! Where did you get that picture of Shiba-cuteness? That shiba looks a lot like Ichi! Also, was that kid practicing to show his puppy or was there a puppy show too?

Hahah...maybe you get your Kai fix strictly from the photos. One can't really help what breeds or dogs they fall for. I enjoy a lot of different breeds but find that some I can just admire whilst others I just HAVE to own! Like it's a NEED, lol.
Oh my goodness, Kelly...I was so excited at being surrounded by so many Shikoku and fascinated by their vast coloring. More so last year (2007) then the year before (2006).
Oh yeah...lol. Jesse, the "Shiba Cuteness" and "Shiba Icon" is actually a puppy I had looked at in 2005. I really wanted to get that Shiba pup, but when I went back for him..to my disappointment he had been sold! Yeah...so I ended up with a Malinois and then a Shikoku instead.
The kid at the show was practicing I guess. The people there were entertained and thought he was cute!
=(^-^)= I'm glad everyone is enjoying the photos! Your welcome!
SO Much Nihon Ken Goodness....awesome.

btw, is it just me or do the Shika look extra thin? ~
Those pictures are great! Thank you for sharing them with us.
Kuma also looks similar to those Shikoku. He does eat, but he is not a big eater. And he is growing.
