    My friend and I went home this weekend, so we took Toby to the dog park. The big dogs made me nervous ( as did the idiot old people/kids who kept leaving the -double- gates wide open ) so we ended up going to the little dog side. Less people, less idiots, nicer dogs.

    It actually ended up being really nice out, so my friend and I took him for a walk down one of the hiking paths next to the dog park. :) And a few people complimented on how well-behaved of a Shiba he is. ;)

    LOL Shiboku...or Shikoba!! Either way he's adorable and looks beautifully proportionate. Not fat, nor thin, just right! I can't wait till mine grows into his legs.

    I figured I would get off my lazy butt and upload all my photos and update this! :)
    Toby is doing great and he has really improved a lot over the past few weeks. I came home a week ago and I have been busy since!

    Anyways, i'll post them in order. :)

    A few weeks ago, we got the kiddie pool out when we had a really huge heat wave. Toby had a slight fear of water for a while, but I coaxed him and gave him tons and tons of treats ... and now he won't leave the darn pool alone!

    Today, all the women in the family went to Valley Forge, and well ... Toby doesn't count so he came along for the walking! :) It was actually really cute. I forgot my camera for one part -- little kids kept coming up to him and petting him. He was soo good, and it made me happy. Anyways. We explored the log cabins and walked around in the park.

    crap. I forget was size it is. I ordered the wrong size originally and had to pay to send it back. And then order a 2nd one. :0

    He is such a Shiba sometimes, xD Least he listens decently. If he was outside of the fence, he'd still be gone.

    I was just reading about Toby's size. My male is also very tall and he is 34 lbs. He towers over Sadie, my mom's female.

    Sorry for the lack of updates! I have been really sick with a virus for 2 weeks!
    I am better now. :)

    Anyways.

    Toby is blowing his coat. :D oh yay. He doesn't have fuzzy buns anymore. :( Makes me sad.

    Glad you are feeling better! Don't you love it when they blow coats like that. Dan always says that there is 1/2 the dog in the yard!

    I used to brush my huskies in the backyard and it always looked like a dog exploded back there, Toby's shedding pic reminded me of that :)

    Miso is shedding really bad right now too.
