The Nihon Ken Forum now has over 500 members! How cool is that? :)

I signed up in June, & I am member number 316, so that means the forum has gotten around 280+ since June! That's pretty cool :)

Congrats Brad! & to everyone here that makes the forum enjoyable! :D ~

    is that special....or "special"?
  • edited November 2008
Bit of both, methinks ;) ~
  • edited November -1
"special" - you knew it was, you just wanted me to say so!
  • edited November -1
    I'm not special enough! :0

    Anyways, w00t! :)

    I'm #368, so I guess I'm only a little special.
  • edited November -1
    so who is #2???? hehhe
  • edited November -1
    You're all very "special". :-P

#2 would be "creativejen" which is Brad's wife. She appears every once in a while to make a comment and disappears just as quickly. We all shout at her to not be such a stranger, but it doesn't seem to do much good. :-/

    Yea! 500+ members! :o)

Dorothy is number 3. Dorothy was instrumental in getting most of the early Shikoku owners on board - for that we should all thank her. :o)

Corina or Michele may be #4... not sure tho.

no, #4 is me - a test profile.
  • edited November 2008
    Wow! 500+ is great!
  • edited November -1
    Michelle is no.7 & Corina is no.9 :) ~
  • edited November -1
Yeah, Michelle is actually the one who found me and lured me onto the forums!

By the way, has anyone heard from her? Perhaps I ought to shoot her an e-mail.

Yay! I love the number 9, how fitting -smiles-.

I'm #32. That's 4x8... 8's my favourite number and four is half of 8, so... that makes it awesome. :-p

Ok, I cannot find my number. I'm in the 190's because I became a member right after Pam. Of course, it's 3am and the baby has me up again, so I just might be missing it completely.

Oh. And has anyone had issues with the member map using firefox. When I click on it, the map is blank. I only have firefox and safari.

    You are no.196 Barb :)

Oh goodie. Someone else is up AND I'm an even number. Very happy about that! Yes, I have issues.
  • edited November 2008
    lol!

It's about 4.15am here, only...erm...I was procrastinating & have a four page essay due on the 5th Harry Potter film for tomorrow mouring at 10am. [ I know I'm going to get scolded by Dave & Kyla :x ] ~

#183 here! And Nat is #192.

This huge growth in such a short time confirms this forum as a great knowledge base on the Nihon Ken, I think. Plus it has cool people on it :-)

Tsk, Tsk...I was a procrastinator when I was in college too. Hope you finished.

I don't know what number I am, but I know I am glad to be here!
  • edited November -1
    Kristin, you're 472. :-)

Osy, is it safe to say you won't have learned your lesson after this? :-P Its funny, because I know having been in your position, that no matter what anyone told me, I was going to continue to do things the way I wanted to. The most powerful realization is the one you make yourself. At least for me anyway. People could tell me to start a project early till they were blue in the face, but until I figured out for myself that starting early was easier on me in so many ways I wasn't about to change my approach. I hope the essay came out well and you catch up on some sleep quickly!
