Getting the Shakes!

Yesterday, the internet went out for a WHOLE day & I wasn't able to get on. [ it occured to me I could borrow some wireless from the neighbors but then I realized the internet was out in the entire area ]

I kept checking til 2.30am and still the internet was out! I only just got it back a few hours ago & the first thing I did was come to the forum! lol

I swear I was getting the shakes from not being able to get on the Nihon Ken Forum for a whole day! It was torture. :)

I have to face the facts, this forum is my drug. lol ~

    I'm aiming for late 09 early 2010, just hope it doesn't get pushed back D:

    I too have had withdrawal issues. This forum really is a great stress relief for me.

    I forget how many of us are on here that still don't have pups, it use to just be Rina & I. :) [ if I remember correctly, now there's you Amber, & Shigeru...& of course all the forum lurkers...& I think I'm forgetting some people... ]

    POWER! It will be even more sweet when we finally do get them! Then, I shall post 5000 pictures a day...I will also probably post a "Crazy Questions from Osy Thread" since I know I will be paranoid...like..."OMG! He blinked twice in a row! Is that...normal?!" or "It took him 1minutes & 54seconds to poop...what is the average time your dog poops at?"

    SHIKOKU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehe, At first it was one of each, but after reading everyone's post on shibas, I realized a shiba wasn't for me. I already have two cats that act like that so I won't want a dog that way too, lol. Osy, your puppy and mine might end up being siblings. We plan to go up and visit Katja in February. Even with living in Washington state it is a 10 hour drive, but it will be a great road trip! (especially in our new Subaru!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

    & I'm SO envious! I wish it was a 10 hour trip for me! [ mapquest says 3356.58miles & 53 hours 9 minutes lol ] Take plenty of pictures& tell Katja Hi for me! lol ;D~

    Lol Rina's going to end up being the last person in this forum with a puppy...but it's ok Spaz will suffice for now lmao. Lol we're actually planning a visit to Katja as our first family vacation though it probably wont be till 2010.

    Osy... I just went to the Nippo show today. Called in sick haha!

    And well, I've always liked the Shikoku, but today I think I fell in love with them! I took my wife today and she fell in love with the Kishu ken, but said she liked the Shikoku as well.

    Somehow I feel like I'm cheating on my as yet non-existing Kai! My wife had the perfect remedy, just get 3 dogs to go with our 3 cats! Now if only my landlord would buy into that idea...

    I took some video, and will post later.

    I like your wife's remedy too! Soon you can start a pack like Brad :)


    I would scold you for calling in sick, but I think the Nippo Show is most deffinitely worth it ;p~

    Waiting....I have been wanting a Shikoku since 1999......my dumb ass had to go into a petshop and open a book...bam..there was the shikoku....Put a fork in me ...I was done!!!

    But now since my mom received a Rhodesian Ridgeback...I am hooked on that breed too......So I will get both....I hope my cat understands

    You guys are too funny. I think I'm lucky I've managed to avoid meeting a Shikoku in person. I'm sure I'd be hooked in a heart beat too. :-)

    As for going through forum withdrawal, most of us have been there. There was the "great forum outage of 2008" a while back. :-)
