So Ryu doesn't feel left out, here's some spam of my darling boy. He is so wonderful, I just love him to pieces!!!!
When our moving boxes came from Hawaii, I threw the comforters on the couch to fluff up. Apparently, Ryu thought this would be a perfect place to nap

After Halloween, Petsmart had a 50% off sale on stuffed toys. Thank goodness because this one lasted all of three minutes:
One of the reasons that Ryu is the perfect Shiba - he is a major play monster but loves to kiss too!!
Breaking in Chloe's new bed - with that big ole' belly, he sure did a good job!
And for fun, this picture was taken last year on 11/24/07. What a difference one year makes!:

Ok, guys, this one is REALLY SUPER embarrassing and it's kind of our deep dark secret. Ryu begs. I mean BEGS. And we really tried to be consistent about teaching him not to beg. It's a work in progress. However, this night, I just couldn't resist getting his production on video. He does this practically every night. Though we don't usually let it get this bad.
Ok, here goes....
Question: do you or Tim run with him for his walks? Is that why I see him sleeping so much? Because if he has to run with a military man, I can see why he'd be sleeping most of the time.
Thanks for the spam Pam! He's definitely a reason to be thankful this season!

The skater video is awesome lol, I wish I could get my peanut to do that.
Keiko is HORRIBLE about begging for food. We've just decided it's easier to crate our dogs during our dinner time - plus we usually eat at the same time I feed them, so it works out really well.
As for being thankful, we actually picked up Ryu on Black Friday last year so this time of year has an even more special meaning for us!
Evan, are they crated in a separate room? Ryu's crate is in the living room and he can hear/smell us eating in the dining room. He'll usually cry until someone breaks down and lets him out. He never cries in his crate unless he knows we're eating. *sigh* Lately, we've been letting him out to play in the backyard and then try to eat before he wants to come back in lol

Bella is a beggar, too. However, she is a silent beggar. She just sits beside you and stares at you. I suppose she is trying to hypnotize us into dropping our food on the floor. Luckily, Nola has yet to learn this trick.
