Two Legged spam....

edited December 2008 in General
Okay, As a proud mommy I just HAD to post this spam of my daughter at her gymnastic meet! I hope you all dont mind! She's nine and in level 4 (She's only been in gymnastics for a year and a half.) This was from the meet just before Halloween. My mom took these pics and she just gave them to me! (Took her long enough! haha)

Sorry there are so many pics, but I couldnt pick just a few to post! And they are TOTALLY out of order.

Wow! From the pictures, it looks like your daughter is really talented! Not to mention coordinated!

I did gymnastics for a couple of years when I was a kid, but got 'kicked out' because I am a klutz. :)

    Some great pics!

She really does seem to enjoy it so much. And for that I'm SUPER excited for her! But I think next year she wants to try other sports. (She's been dropping hints about joining the swim team! hahah)

Awww Casey! ahhaha How could they crush your Olympic dreams like that? haha I'm sure you grew out of the "klutzy" stage. Right? lol

Katie - She looks great! I was a gymnastics teacher for a level 4 team and I know how hard those girls work! Great job. I was a gymnast until I got too tall and then I became a cheerleader (still am) and I was on the high school swim team. I think swimming is the BEST exercise ever, and less risk of injury! HA HA.

Katie, you would think I would have grown out of it... But nope. Still a giant klutz! I trip and fall on my face walking across a flat surface. :) However, I have just learned to deal with the bumps and bruises. My husband says it gives me character. Although I think he really means it gives him something to laugh at. Hehe.

Okay I have a two legged spam Im very proud of...MY HUBBY!

He just got inducted into the Wentworth Institue of Technology Baseball Hall of Fame. It's amazing to think that he has been out of college for over 12 years and he STILL holds most of the baseball records for the school. He was a pitcher. So there was a big dinner at the school with awards and stuff...

Congrats to your Hubby Kristin! Whoo hoo!!!

I'd like to think my little angel gets her athletic ability from me.....I was on Track, swim, volleyball, and cheerleading squads. But I NEVER had the guts to do Gymnastics!

LMAO CASEY! ("Character") Sounds like you have a smart hubby! hahah

Katie: She looks great! I'm very impressed. My parents had me enrolled in every sport imaginable when I was a kid, gymnastics included. I quit after I snapped my arm in half on a botched vault. :-( I must say though, your daughter has a beautiful smile!

    Kristin: Congrats to the hubby!

ARGH! Dave....Like I dont worry enough already about her doing gymnastics! HAHAH I told my kids that they could try ANY sport/activity they wanted. The only rules are they HAVE to do well in school, and once they start something they HAVE to stick it out at least one season/session. If they dont like it after that they can move on to something else or take a break from things.

Thanks Heidi! She really enjoys team sports! And she sure does make momma proud!
