Christmas Mouse let us down :o(

This time of year is a special time of year here at the Anderson house, not only do we get to share the holidays with family, pups, and friends, we get the pleasure of bringing out Christmas Mouse - Maui's nemesis.

Christmas Mouse has always provided us with hours of entertainment while we watched Maui bark, charge, and growl at him while he spreads his Christmas cheer.

Not this year tho! :o(

It seems, in true holiday spirit, Maui has patched things up with Christmas Mouse. He no longer hates him.

So, this holiday season, Christmas mouse is just an annoying mouse that wiggles and sings Christmas music, and not an endless supply of Maui entertainment.

I captured the sad event on video for you all, you will see none of our pups share the same hatred for Christmas Mouse as Maui used to...

    AHI!!!!! Yay. Always good to see her. Poor Hilo and Kahuna. They're all freaked out. And Luytiy is thinking 'Y'all are some crazy people'!

    Awww, caged Ahi, poor girl. Hopefully she is doing well.

    That is pretty funny though. I would like to see how Maui used to freak out.

    Awwwh....it looks like Maui now likes Christmas mouse....Look at him checking the mouse out. : )
    Kahuna seems a little nervous about Christmas mouse and Kaia thinks mouse is a little wacky too.
    Dogs.....they are too funny.... And Shibas .....well you never know....Go figure.

    Yea, Kahuna was a little freaked by Christmas Mouse, but I think it was more due to us making a big event out of him. At first Kaia was like, WTF? - then she just kinda blew us off. lol

    Ahi...

    I knew you guys would make a big thing out of seeing Ahi. I debated whether to post her vid or not, but then I figured it is better to see her and see that she is doing well than not to see her at all. She is recovering nicely. She gets her brace fitted tomorrow, that will allow her more freedom - it was a lot of work getting that brace here, it took a month and a lot of phone calls. I plan to post pics of her w/ her brace on, I just have not had anything to give an update on.

    Q: How's Ahi?
    A: She's miserable in a crate, but healing nicely.

    Maui could have at least faked it for you. What a party pooper. :-(

    I'm glad Ahi's recovering nicely. How much longer until she's back to full craziness?

    Oi, Brad, can you BLAME us for being concerned about Ahi? ;)

    Of course the poor dear will be stuck in a crate for a while, but at least she'll be healthier in the long run <3

    I thought I had posted on this thread, but I guess that was a dream. :-P

    I am with Kelly... I would have sat Christmas Mouse down on the floor and sat back and laughed.

    Glad that Ahi is recovering. She did not look too miserable, but that could be because the mouse was cheering her up. :) Best of luck with her brace. And yes, please post pictures!

    Since christmas mouse let you down....maybe these two videos of Honey playing (read attacking) the singing hamster the kids found will cheer you up!

    Ha Ha! I don't blame Honey for that attack ... that is one annoying song, at least when played over and over! Thanks for sharing the video --- I swear that Honey thinks she's a cat... what a jumper! Have a great Christmas, and a wonderful New Year!

    oh man, i'm stoked to see this! when i am by a PC i will mos def check it out! since xmas mouse was such a bust i am glad someone was able to celebrate the holiday season the right way. :o)
