I haven't taken pics of Ninja and Portia in a while. Yesterday morning it was pouring...so I decided to take some shots...especially since they were being silly.

Ninja's Lazy Sit on the stairs.

Ninja always stands over Portia like this. I don't know why.

And my baby girl Portia...totally bummed because it's wet outside.

Awwww. They are so cute. Portia does look forlorn in that shot.

BTW, I remember you saying that Ninja had lost some weight. Is he still weighing less? He looks pretty skinny in the second shot.

Wow -- Ninja looks absolutely elegant! Very slim and trim! Thanks for sharing the pics, and sorry the doggies are so bored --- especially Portia who looks so bummed! What weird weather, and just in time for Christmas, too! Well, I'd wish you a white Christmas, but I guess that is the last thing you all would need after fires and other issues through the year!

Have a great holiday, Romi! Take care!

Very cute photos! I really like the first one, great perspective.
Ninja does seem a bit on the thin side.

Ninja does look thin right??? I feed him 1 1/2 cups a day! I tried adding 1/4 more to his daily intake, but there would always be left overs so I changed it back to 1 1/2. I think maybe his coat didn't fully fill out so it makes him look skinnier. His neck area has a double coat, but from like the shoulders down, his coat seems like a single coat. It almost looks like he's shaved! He was 21 lbs. a couple months ago, I just weighed him now and he is 22.2 lbs.

OK. I KNOW Jessica is going to say something....but...I think you need to send Ninja to me for a week. I'm SURE I can get some weight on him!!!

Love the pix, though. Portia is just too cute!

He looks at a good weight, but he does have a long body which lends him a skinny look, as would being out of coat. Either way, it's cute how he stands over Portia like she belongs to him.

I am dreading Barbaras reaction when she sees Miko and Piglet. Miko is a gangly teenager, and Piggy we keep lighter for ease on her joints.

Dogs that are slightly underweight have significantly longer life expectancy.

Ninja looks perfect to me, and I agree with Lindsay I think his longer torso makes him look leaner than he is.

Our vet wants Niko underweight. She is consistently 18 pounds but because of her LP they want her to weigh less.

I know Jess, but it's the Italian in me!! I can't stand the skinny pups. It makes me sad. I've finally got Mika and Keigo to good weights - although Dave says Keigo is chuncky and he's now 120lbs. When Dave met him, he was 105lbs. LOL. The vet's happy with their weight. Mika fluctuates between 80 and 90lbs. But she now seems to be getting a waddle, which I don't understand. She barely eats 3 cups of kibble a day. Keigo eats double that.
