Could be worse... You could live in beautiful scenic New England; where a week ago we got 16 inches of snow and yesterday it was 50F and it is now warm and green.
I actually like the snow... it wouldn't be a problem if Portland were equipped to deal with clearing the roads. We're 'stuck' spending the day in our house, which wasn't originally the plan, but with roads like they are there's no way we're braving a long drive to our friends house. Hopefully things will be clear by this weekend since we postponed our plans! )
I'm stuck a la casa de mi madre because of the roads. Hopefully it warms up enough to melt, then Portland and Seattle can start sandbagging for the imminent floods. I was driving downtown (more like off-roading in all the ice-my shocks are toast) the other day, there were people cross country skiing down the main streets of Seattle, it was weird. Looked cool though.
Poor little Belle can't even go for walks right now because the snow is too deep - it was to the point where it was almost too deep for Keiko, but she didn't mind... just kept diving into it and eating it!

*sigh*
I don't care for Brussels sprouts either.
That scene is very pretty. What's very nice about snowfall is it dampens sound very well, it makes for a very serene moment.

However, I bet Keiko is enjoying the snow. :-P Although I bet poor little Belle is not.
