After many requests, the survey for the Forum Calendar is available.

Below is a link that will open a new window to the survey. Please keep this window open as well so that you can still see the images you are voting for. Once the survey closes, we’ll have the results posted for you. Please narrow your selections to 24.

The survey only lets you choose one "yes" and not multiple.

    Sneaky, aren't we?

There was a lot to choose from and I'll admit it was pretty tough. I had to choose not only the picture I liked, but also look at the quality of the picture itself to make sure it would hold up well to print.

Also, if Ichi doesn't make the cut, it gives me incentive to make my own calendar of him. 12 months of Ichi...:P

I chose the same way Jesse, there were a lot of pictures I really wanted to vote for but I didn't think they'd look too nice when printed :( ~

I'm trying to keep from looking at the results until the deadline - it's kind of hard.

hey guys - I know this is really late...but I just went to the boxer forum...and they have a calendar too. I was thinking....since some images may not turn out very good when enlarged...and some members are choosing based on that. The boxer calendar put a bunch of smaller pics togehter for each calendar month... here is what is looks like.

Maybe this way, we will be able to use more of the photo's and the photo's will be in better quality...

I would be up for arranging/designing all the photo's to be placed in a nice flowing way. This way more people can add photo's as well...we could probably even use a photo from each member so everyone's dogs are involved in the calendar.

yeah, i was going to say that NYCSR's calendar is a lot like the boxer one above, and it flows really nice and a lot of pups are featured in it instead of just one or two per month:

Piglet is one of the April pups

And Moto and Piglet are December pups, Moto was the only non pit bull and after he died, they made him and "Honorary Pit Bull"

Tried using all pics with snow,x-mas spirit, or keeping warm...

    I think it's a good idea!

    looks good!

So what's going on? Are we explicitly defining a set of criteria such that quality of picture is irrelevant now that we're going to try and fit more (smaller) pictures per month?

It's just a suggestion - I guess it would be up to what everyone wanted to do. It just seemed like a good idea to me, since some really good photo's won't look good blown up and since we have so many submissions, i just thought it might be cool to do like a mirage of different photo's that are a little smaller - that way there are more photo's and the smaller photo's won't be counted out just because they're small.
