strange fur change

ok so recently roxy's fur around her neck has become gray, and idk if it's from the collar or if it's normal cause we changed collars and her fur hasn't changed so if anyone knows wut may be causing it info would be great, oh and just recently shes discovered that she like my little brothers shower and how to turn it on! he's got a wheelchair shower so everything is lower, it was rly funny when we first found her in the shower, she was kinda sitting there but when we walked in she started barking at us lol now we have to keep his door shut, I'm gunna try to make a video of it next time it happens.

    How old is Roxy? I know that Mika's coat changed quite dramatically around 4 or 5 months old. She got greyish/blackish fur around her neck area. Her white markings started coming in more and her black guard hairs started showing through a lot more. I doubt her collar could change the pigment of her fur, but you never know. My best bet would be that it's her natural coat change, however, someone else here may know better/different.

    If you are using a collar with any metal pieces and especially if the gray is happening on the underside (under her snout), its probably from the metal of the collar.

    She's a red shiba, right? As far as I understand it, reds don't normally have gray undercoats or guard hairs.

    shes red or seseme, it was the metal on the collar
