Hilarity and the Shiba

edited January 2009 in Shiba Inu (柴犬)
I am a rather reserved person. However, tonight there was a rerun on BBC America of Robin Williams appearance on the Graham Norton show and it made me just laugh to the point of tears. Tosca was lying with me on the sofa and found this whole experience very strange. Her person doesn't dissolve into fits of riotous laughter.

There is something about the incredulous stare of a shiba inu that exponentially multiples the humor of things.

Ha ha, Ike got freaked out the first time I laughed like that and went to hide under the loveseat with his little nose poking out. Their faces are so expressive.

Whenever I bust out laughing Miso jumps on me and tries to french kiss me. So then I laugh even harder!

Nemo does not like exuberent laughter, especially from people he doesn't know that well. He tends to run around bark if we laugh too much. What is wrong with these dogs?

They're so funny! Tosca picked her head up and looked at me with a look that seemed to say "What on earth is wrong with you? Can't you see I'm trying to nap here?"

Tojo raises his head and sort of looks down his nose at me with this piercingly stoic look whenever people are, in his opinion, acting stupid. I once just pointed and laughed at him to see what he`d do and he gave me that haughty glare and then promptly got up, turned around, and sat back down with his back facing me. He was totally giving me the cold shoulder!
