Change in Behavior
So Pong Pong's been pretty good lately. However, my family and I noticed that she isn't as food motivated anymore. She definitely still begs and will snatch food out of your hand if you are distracted but only on high-valued food. With kibbles or something that isn't incredibly delicious smelling, she'll sniff it first and decide if she wants it or not.
She used to go after everything and anything regardless if it was edible or not, as long as it LOOKED good. She also sleeps A LOT more and just seems OLD. She's only 1 year and 7months and I don't know if I should worry or not.
As you know, Pongy has lyme disease but she doesn't really show any symptoms (unless the stuff above is symptoms..). She's on antibiotics which she hates worse than her easywalk. She seems okay though. I just don't know if this slight change of behavior is because of the drastic weather changes we've been having (warm, cold, warm, cold) in Jersey or she's just maturing into one big lazy butt.
How does your shiba's behavior change as they get older?

Normal adult dogs sleep ALOT, unless there is something more interesting to do. Mine are always ready to go on a walk or bike ride, or out for a trip in the car, but they are LAZY in the house.
I found my female to be less food motivated this winter (she'll be 2 in June) and we just started exercising before we fed her (it used to be the other way around) and now she'll at least eat a larger portion (about 3/4 of her food) than before.
