Chicago Area Shiba Meet Ups?

Does anyone know of any Shiba meet ups in the Chicago area? I have google searched this in a gazillion different ways and found nothing. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

    Try www.meetup.com. That's the de facto place to find such things.

    There isn't one on meetup.com, but I believe Pam knew of someone that was looking to start one up soon. There are about 50 people interested in joining one.

    Shiba Inu Rescue Association was interested in starting one up but I don't think anything official has been done.

    I started the meetup group in Hawaii and it was a piece of cake. We started out with monthly meetups and then moved to bi-monthly because it grew so fast. Meetup.com makes it super easy to start a meetup too. :)
