Have you ever...

...woken up to lots and LOTS of kisses and a really wet arm!?? Oh... well I have!!!

So Keiko has been like, the epitome of good girl lately so she's been sleeping in bed with us... until JUST NOW! Oh yeah... I woke up with lots of Shiba kisses all the while she's peeing on my arm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oy! Needless to say, it's probably my fault in the long run, but I'm still minorly annoyed :oP

The bratface is back in her crate and I'm off to find a 24 hour store (it's not even 5am yet) so that I can get some new bedding and perhaps an air mattress for the night

The worst thing... as I was in the shower the first thing that popped in my head is - well NOW I HAVE this to post on the forums!
  • edited November -1
... and it turns out the only '24 hour' place listed near us is Walgreens... which wasn't open when I called *sigh* so now I wait until 7am when Fred Meyer opens - hate the store, but need a nap...

    LOL. Sorry. :-/

I wonder what in the world was going through her head...

"Dad wake up! Daaaaad, wake up I need to pee!!! Dad?? Dad?? If you don't wake up I'm going to pee where right here...." Shibas never give idle threats. Where was James in all of this? Laughing and taking pictures I secretly hope:)...

LOL James woke up to "OMG She's peeing on me!! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" I must have been dead to the world because I didn't hear her whine or anything before it happened!

Awww be flattered Evan, that's her way of saying, "You're mine!"

haha. never had a my shiba pee on me, but often if my boyfriend goes to take the dogs out in the morning and if he doesn't put the puppy gate up she will come back inside, run upstairs, jump on the bed and attack anyone that is sleeping with morning kisses. Was your couch not big enough to sleep on? that stinks about not having any stores open... hope you catch up on your sleep!

That can't be pleasant, but it is amusing for the reader :-)
    Sorry.

Moto peed on my feet once.

LOL!! That really sucks! But, I guess, it's her way of saying, "next time I need to go, you'll listen!".... ;0)...Oh, btw, I hate Freddies too...I had to go there today to pick up some spackle (5 minutes to get my stuff, 20 minutes in line...grrrrrr).

We ended up going to Ikea today to replace my down blanket... walked out with quite the large bill because we also decided to get a side board/buffet while we were there to prevent Loki from going behind the couch and knocking over speaker stands. Then of course we needed a nice table lamp to go on it and replace the floor lamp he busted by romping behind the sofa... clearly I blame my pricey Ikea bill on the doggies ;o)

Here's a picture of the new buffet with the new lamp and some wine from the winery we visited yesterday!

(Luckily we found a new dining room table we LOVE ... so we'll probably be going back in two weeks to grab that up along with a new chandelier to complete the kitchen/dining room/living room makeovers - just got all new appliances last week Photobucket

    OMG Dave. LMFAO! ~

I Love Ikea. Evan we have the same table! I use it as a sewing table! I love it, has great storage!

    Keiko peeing on you is...well..hilarious!
  • edited November -1
wow. well. I've never had a dog pee on me while in bed with me, thats interesting.

great new furniture! I LOVE Ikea!

"My symmetry alarm"... :-P Dave, I must ask (because I have similar obessions), would you rather have a square table or a round table?
  • edited November -1
At face value, I have a slight preference for square (or rectangular) tables; however, my obession/neurosis/whatever would be dictated by the other things in the room. A round table in front of a couch drives me nuts, but a rectangular table in the center of a circle (or triangle) or chairs also drives me nuts. I know, I'm weird.

LOL I have that same alarm Dave! hahahahahah People who know me think I'm nuts! When my hubby stacks the Toilet paper in the bathroom closet and it's not stacked in even amounts....I cringe. lol And there's TOO MANY other examples I could give. lol

Evan, love you new stuff! And of COURSE its because of the doggies you had to get all that stuff! HAHAHA

You guys are hilarious. I am not blessed with the symmetry alarm - I have a bulletin board hung on the wall in my office that is beyond crooked. It's been crooked since January and I haven't been bothered enough by it to fix it LOL Dave - you would hate my office!
  • edited November -1
I'm cringing and tense just reading your post! :-P I bet I wouldn't even be able to walk into your office.

LOL I should post a picture just to make you go over the edge :) Though, that would be embarrassing because it is extremely disorganized at the moment.... you're lucky!
  • edited November -1
LOL Dave!!! I HATE HATE HATE those blinds.... a few of them were broken when the monster was more of a puppy and now a lot of them are broken due to the Loki - after the dining room is complete we'll be replacing all of the window treatments.
  • edited November -1
    How about this...

Why don't both of you fix the issues and then re-post pictures with everything all neat and organized. :-P Then I can get some closure. :-)

Can't go wrong w/ a shopping trip brought on by a big ole' pee party! now, the trick, is to train your pup to pee on all the things you want to replace...like...say, the TV...then you could be like...Umm..James, Keiko pee'd on the TV...what do you say we pick up that 60-inch LCD we've been eying??! Or, if you want a new wardrobe... ;0)
