Dog pimping.....UGH!

This is so sad.....

http://www.hoobly.com/0/0/764118.html

I have a tri-colored Female Shiba Inu. I am looking to breed her to a tan or orange colored (maybe even white or silver and black) Shiba Inu. I was wanting to do this for half the litter. If it comes out to an odd number then you get the odd number as well. So if anyone is interested or knows someone that is... Please let me know

Obviously she doesn't know the color names for the breed as there are no "tan", "orange", "white" or "silver and black" Shiba's.

    Yuck, people are gross.

Yeah, I noticed that too! lol I'm sure her knowledge of shiba's (or dogs in general) is SUPER limited!!!!!

People like that should just stick to playing with virtual Dogz, and leave the real animals to someone who can at least out smart a lima beam

I've read and re-read this...it just makes no sense to me as to what she wants: I was wanting to do this for half the litter. If it comes out to an odd number then you get the odd number as well

HUH?? God I hope she doesn't find someone dumb enough to lend her a stud.

LOL I think she's saying if there are four pups she wants 2. If there are five then she still only wants 2 the other person is lucky enough to get the "extra". ugh.

I hope she is not planning to offset the cost of buying her dog by selling the puppies

I just dont get why people who arent actual BREEDERS would want to take on something like this. I dont think people actually understand the finances that come with having to care for a litter of pups.

    Katie,
You're assuming they're looking to find/do adequate care for the litter of puppies...

I agree, this person didn't even bother to get her shiba fixed, and isn't really looking in the best of places for a stud.

I have a feeling that this lady thinks her only expense will be kibble after weaning, and that's if she keeps them the proper length of time needed for a pups

so I totally wasn't even gonna open this thread b/c the idiocy of the world really gets to me... but I did, and I saw that crazy's ad, and I sent her a message:

    "Hello,
I just wanted to pass this information along to you, regarding breeding if you are doing it for the very first time:
    learntobreed.com
    Its pretty self explanatory.

Also, I don't know how much you already know about the shiba breed, I assume a great deal since you are considering breeding your female, but this is a good website: http://www.shibas.org/
good description of health issues to TEST for before breeding, good info on what traits shibas should have that they should pass on to their pups.

If you need any more info, give me a shout! I love to talk Shiba."

Way to go, Jen! :) Hopefully this causes her to think twice about breeding, and maybe she will contact you for additional info.
