Oh yeah. But Kuma is mostly done (thank God!). It is horrible - so much hair.

Rakka's blowout was about a month ago. Tojo's having his, though, and he looks really bizarre. He shed his butt hair first this season, so his shoulders look all huge and buff compared to his skinny little butt. He looks like a body builder, lol.

Wow! And it's not easy furminating that girl! (I remember the vid ofJen trying). Hope she finishes blowing soon!

Makes you wish you could just shear them like sheep, eh?

Silly girl, she needs to LOVE the furminator. :)

Poor Ahi...though you did give me quite a scare. Keigo's shed seems pretty severe this year too. And the hair that's left is super duper coarse. I wonder what's up. Probably just the weird weather this year. Dunno.

Romi: I LOVE tha video of Ahi. It totally cracks me up.

That's what Penny looks like right now. It's so sad :(

There is sooo much hair everywhere, but she is only a 15 lb Shiba. I can't imagine the amount of hair flying around your house! LOL

Poor Ahi!! I'm now down to vaccuuming only 4 times a week now...but the fur keeps on comin!! In fact, I've got the vaccuum all revved up and ready to go before company arrives! sigh.

We are over it, thankfully. It lasted about 5-6 weeks. Yuck.

Mikos was last month. I was horrified. I thought I was doing something to make her sick or something. But her coat is nice and fluffy now.

Yeah, Kei finally finished his molting some time ago. Those butt fluffs were a pain though, he kept sitting down everytime I tried to pluck them, lol.

Oh...I'll fill ya in on a little secret, for those of you who don't own the Furminator (like me). I found that a metal cat comb work wonders on Shikoku!

Kotomi has yet to shed her puppy coat.

They have the same fur thing with Akita Ken.
It's normal when they lose there coat, it depend of the season but sometime: they lose lot lot lot of fur!
    ;-P
    So sweet Ahi!

She looks like a shorn sheep, but I agree, her nobility is very much "The Emperor's New Clothes" :)
