Some pics of the pack...

Here are some recent pics we took of the pack, there are a few of Kona where you can start to see his brindle colors. There is also one of all the dogs in one shot - that's rare!

    They are all gorgeous.

Aren't those moments when they are all resting so precious you wish you had a pause button to make it last?

    Thanx guys!

Romi - Loa is getting big - fast, we can't keep up with her weight... We keep having to give her more food because she grows out of he weight range. Shikokus grow very fast, I think Ahi was full grown at 9 months! Looking back we barely remember Ahi being a puppy because she grew up so fast.

Jessica - When all the dogs are just chill'n and Jen and I can just sit and enjoy them all at once, I really do wish I had a pause button. I think that is why I take so many pics of them just laying around. They are always playing like freaks, so the rare moments when they are just sleeping is great!

Evan - Not dead, just dead asleep! Smile

I love how Ahi still goes into the kennel that is obviously a bit too small.  I want an Ahi.

Wow full grown at 9 months! Crazy...Well actually...I think Portia was full grown at 6 months Embarassed.  She only gained 2 pounds since then...but then again...Portia's a new breed of mini boxers..hehe.  When did Maui and Kaia become full grown?  How much do they weigh?  Ninja seems to be growing pretty quick...at this rate he might get bigger than Portia!

Brandon - I put that crate there for Kaia, she hangs out with me when I work - but at night she moves to the window to her watch post... so every night Maui, Ahi and Kona kinda try to get the crate first. Its really silly. Hilo even tries to go in it then realizes its not gonna work out - so he just lays in front of it.

Romi - We rescued Kai when she was 6 months, she grow a little after we got her but not much. Maui was full grown at 12 months... with smaller breeds, they seem to grow real fast at first then slow down, then they get another growth spurt towards the end of their growth period. Medium size breeds grow really fast the just stop early (like Ahi), while large breeds grow slower and longer - Hilo will reach his full size at 18 months.

Are Shibas are not good examples tho - they are small. Kaia is really small.

    Brad

They actually all sleep at the SAME time?! Amazing, they must really get tired of each other, for real. I love the group shot, they are always great. Too precious! I understand about pups growing up so fast. Shoot, Lynx is already 2 yrs + of age! Kei is still very much puppy, but -sighs- I know I will be sitting here with an adult male Shikoku very soon. Got to enjoy the pups while they are still pups. And YES, photos are the best way to preserve the puppyness. Take a TON of them.

    Romi

How cool, you have a mini Boxer and I have a mini Malinois! lol. Lynx is a bit on the small side for Malinois, a little pocket rocket, just barely made standards with the height.
