Classic Candid Ahi (video)

So tonight we gave all the pups some raw-hide chews. Ahi finished hers in like a second, escaped from her pen (no idea how), and started taunting Hilo for his raw-hide. I heard it happening, turned my camera on and left the room - this is what I recorded...

Ahi's big J-Lo butt blocks a lot of the video but its still pretty funny... the noises are what makes it funny. She almost gets her head stuck too, she's pretty 'special'. Undecided

Why does everybody pick on Hilo???  That is freakin' hilarious!  I love how Ahi waited for you to leave the room to continue taunting Hilo.  AND Hilo starts barking like "excuse me, a little help in here?"

And I have to tell everyone....do you see Maui's tight curl?  I have never met another shiba with as tight of a curl as Maui.  It is amazing!

hahaah thats a great video!!! Seriously, Ahi makes the best noises in the world!

Ahi is just a clown, she really is.

All the dogs pick on Hilo because he is like a sessile creature - he never moves. They can do anything to him and he just sits there, like a tree. He's silly.

I think Maui's tail is so curled because he's always wound up so tight - he is always tense.

BTW - Rachael - Happy B-Day (on Monday)! Smile

I love that the dog in the small crate on the right, Loa, is just chewing away on her rawhide, oblivious to the shennanigans going on next to her.

I thought Hilo remained pretty calm through that whole thing.  If some dog tried to come in to Nemo's crate and take his rawhide chew, that would be a scene.

Good point on Maui.  I thought the same think about Loa, that was pretty funny.

THANKS Brad!  Ditto for you tomorrow (tuesday)!

I think all our dogs are pretty used to Ahi's shenanigans - she is always bothering them.

She is also over-the-top with her reactions. She will be laying there sleeping and Kaia (or anyone else) will walk by and graze her tail, Ahi will jump up from her sleep and all but bite Kaia - I mean she makes every growl noise possible when she does this... Kaia will just look at her like "jeez, you need to relax", and then just walk away. My point is, they are all pretty used to her being relentlessly irritating. lol

I have a clip of Ahi trying to get the raw hide from Loa too (while Loa is in her crate)... its not as good tho, but I'll post just for the sake of conversation.  Smile

    Here is the Loa clip:

The growl you hear in the clip is Loa telling Ahi to back off.

Here is a clip I just found - its a great example of what I was just writing about - Ahi bothering everyone. I think she takes a lot of joy in just being annoying.

Watch how she see the opportunity towards the end of the clip to take a shot at Maui - she is such a troublemaker.

When she starts acting like that its usually time for a walk.

I enjoyed all the videos, but the last one was way wicked!

I think Kei is kinda similar to Ahi, he loves to bother the cats, when clearly...they just want to be left alone. He'll do the same to Lynx and it doesn't take much to piss her off and she's not fair or very forgiving; she's a bit of a bully herself though, so it'll go ten folds over on him. I felt bad though cause the other day they got into it and Kei looked as though his feelings were hurt -frowns-, he would not go near her for the entire day! However, on the next day he was at his antics yet again...the kid doesn't learn...-shakes head-.

Trouble makers...if they don't do it for their amusement they do it for ours -smirks-.

I'm sure they are doing it for their amusement.  :c)

I also am sure that Kei LOVES to be beat up by Lynx, Shikokus just really seem to like to get abused - especially Ahi.
