I'm noticing some "Shikoku mannerisms" with the pawing, mouthing the air, then the sit n' stare. And that "delicate" kind of motion (very deceiving at that, I think they are anything but delicate. Hahah). I thought that maybe it was just a "Kei thing", lol. I think the best part of the video was when your husband dropped the yo-yo and then made a mad dash for it; with Rakka making no crazy attempt for wanting to get and destroy the yo-yo -giggles-.

Well like many things a yo-yo left with a dog unattended could be deadly, but in a controled situation like this it's probably pretty safe.
