Viggo with his best friend Kira

edited September 2009 in Akita (秋田犬)
Just a couple of pics of Viggo, his best friend Kira and my two "movie stars daughters" :)

The two pictures taken down by the sea is from an early morning walk I took with them this summer.

Nice pictures, your girls are cute! It looks like Kira has grown.

    Thanks!

Yes Kira has grown and her fur is a lot thicker than it was a couple of months ago. She now looks a lot more like a real Suomenlapinkoira ;)

Your Lapphund is absolutely adorable! And I like your Akita's "melty face" look when she's resting her head on the floor..
  • Viggo's melty face pics are priceless.

Opps... I putted it in wrong category.

You should see him when he yawns when he's resting like that! I sure think you know what he looks like then... :D

A little video we took last week when we let Viggo and Kira running around without their leash for the first time in an open area like this. :)

I love Viggo's strut through the long grass. He's looking very nice!

Yes Corina, you can take that to the bank! :) The call in is getting better and better now too. So soon I can be a bit more relaxed when having them both off-leash like this. In the woods it works almost perfect now, there they're almost always behind me. I always carry a whistle and they beginning to come really fast when I blow in the whistle.

Last week, a late evening, I and my mentor (Erling Karlsson) took them to a dark dark forest. I couldn't even see my hand in front of me. We took off their leash and told them to "jump and play". Kira stayed pretty close to us but Viggo ran away after a few seconds. So I called him in with a quick blow in the whistle. He came back at once. I'm so proud of him. Even though it's a lot of wild animals in the woods he comes to me instead of running away. Who could think he would do that a year ago. A year ago I didn't even dream about having off the leash like this :)
